Concentration an issue? With so many distractions here are some simple ways to simplify your work space...

"Do you have a clean clutter free workspace?"


1. Put your personal phone on silent and on check in two hour increments

2. Clear any clutter whether working from your home, office, plane, coffee shop or car. Place only what you need in front of you for the next two hours.

3. Let everyone know you will be in a meeting and check in as soon as your done

4. Do not answer emails unless urgent while committing to this time (They will be there when you are done ..."promise!")


Take it from a MOM that has clocked sometimes 27 missed calls and 15 text messages easily in a day. (I have to set boundaries for my work commitment and brief my family that I am unplugging from them while at work with two checks a day on activity and needs)


Now you can get to work and dive in without interruptions. You will accomplish more in 2 hours than in 6 hours without the right setting!
